IMPROVING STUDENT’S LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ABOUT EARTH’S ROTATION IN SCIENCE OF GRADE VI SEMESTER II TRASAN 4 STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BANDINGAN SUB-DISTRICT MAGELANG REGENCY IN ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2015/2016

The Science learning outcomes of grade VI semester II in Trasan 4 State Elementary school show that student’s achievement is not satisfied, in which there are only 25% students who are active. Based on the condition, there must be action in resolving problem to improve the student’s Science learning outcomes as the expectation. For that reason, the Classroom Action Research is implemented to improve student’s Science learning outcomes of Earth’s Rotation of grade VI Trasan 4 State Elementary School of semester II, academic year of 2015/2016.
The research takes place in Trasan 4 State Elementary School at Trasan, Bandongan Sub-district, Magelang Regency, Central Java. The research is implemented on semester II academic year of 2015/2016, February-May 2016. The Research subjects are grade VI Trasan 4 State Elementary School toward 10 male and 10 female of 20 students. The research uses Classroom Action Research in research cycles planning, in which each cycle has 4 stages ;1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The evaluation to measure the expected achievement, then being revision to implemented the action in the next cycle.
According to the data analysis outcomes drom cycle I to cycle II, can be concluded that using cooperative learning model, student’s learning motivation are improved and gives positive impact toward grade VI Trasan 4 State Elementary School student’s learning outcomes in Science. It is proved by the improvement of average score and the completeness of student’s learning outcomes; it is 76,5 or 55% completeness in cycle I, then the learning outcomes become 82,3 or 75% completeness in cycle II.
