The research aim is to know the improvement of student’s learning achievement after applying the method of learning tasks and recitation and knowing the student’s learning motivation impact after applying the method.
The research takes place in Gunungpring 2 State Elementary School, Muntilan Sub-district, Magelang Regency, in Academic Year of 2014/2015 and is implemented on February even semester 2014/2015. Research subject is grade IV Gunungpring 2 State Elementary School students. The research uses Classroom Action Research.
According to the learning activity result which have been implemented in three cycles, and based on the all discussion and analysis. It can be concluded that learning based problem has positive impact in improving student’s learning achievement, in which there is improvement in every cycle; cycle I (73,07%), cycle II (84,61%),and cycle III (96,15%). The application of giving learning tasks and recitation has positive impact in improving student’s affective in learning process, such as; attention, cooperation, diligence, and activeness.
